Frequently Asked Questions

    • My current rate for a 55 minute individual therapy session is $200. Payment is accepted in the forms of cash/electronic payment/ and FSA/HSA cards. I also accept Loveland Therapy vouchers to offset the cash pay rate.

    • Health insurance is only accepted for CA clients. The current health insurances I accept are Aetna, Optum, and United Health Care. If you are interested in seeking reimbursement through Out-of-Network benefits, please contact your insurance company and confirm that this is a part of your health plan.

    • Reduced Rates: It’s important that quality therapy is accessible, which is why I offer a limited amount of reduced rate slots. If you are in need, please inquire about the current availability of reduced rate slots and I will be happy to share if I can accommodate your needs.

    • The first step to starting therapy is to schedule a 15-minute consultation. It’s important that I learn more about your needs and that you have a chance to meet me, so that we can determine if we would be a good fit. Feeling comfortable with your therapist plays a significant role in the effectiveness of your therapy experience.

    • After the consultation, you will schedule your first appointment and during this appointment we will review your intake questionnaire. We’ll spend time getting clear on your goals so that we have a solid foundation laid as we move forward with your therapy journey.

  • If you don’t identify as Christian or with any spiritual belief system, I’d still love to work with you! I have the privilege of supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, and my faith enhances my ability to provide compassionate, goal-focused care for everyone. While I specialize in Christian therapy for those seeking it, my priority is creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where all clients feel supported and valued.

  • Faith-informed therapy integrates traditional therapy with faith-based principles at the foundation. For Christian clients, this can mean weaving Biblical truths and spiritual practices into sessions as desired, while still using therapeutic approaches like IFS, mindfulness, and somatic based techniques.

Traditional therapy may not explicitly include spiritual components, but faith-informed therapy acknowledges that faith can be a powerful source of strength, hope, and guidance in the healing journey. Faith-informed therapy offers a more holistic focus on healing – addressing emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness together.

Please note that your therapy process is yours. You will never be forced to integrate faith-based principles into your therapy sessions if that is not your preference.

  • I have a 48 hour cancellation policy.  If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, you will be required to pay an $85 late cancellation fee. If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment (without notice aka ‘No Show’), you will be required to pay the full session rate of $200.
